That's no Moon!

Aran’s latest construction, which he made on the cheap and looks fantastic, as well as resembling a Death Star under construction. It gently pulses and it’s quite easy to lose yourself in it.

Scholar’s Feast

Scholar's Feast

After the induction ceremony (which, frankly, was awkward) we needed to kill forty minutes in the bar, so the Senior Tutor bought everyone a drink. The girl behind the bar looked pretty alarmed at the queue she had to serve.

Trick shot.

Ice Skating

I went ice-skating today for the first time in too many years for my liking. The lack of teeth on the skates threw me off for a bit, but I adapted quite quickly. My one bugbear was the number of tiny kids blazing around with no regard for who may or may not be about to runover them.

Christmas Lights

Not spectacular, but not so poor as to be embarrassing. I’m a big fanof the blue strings that seem to have been all the rage the last fewyears.

Pav Second Room

Wire Wool

Wire Wool

For the last two years, I’ve heard wonderful, wonderful stories about poi made out of wire wool. Everything I had heard about them paled in comparison to actually seeing them. Phenomenal, and spectacularly unsafe.

Natsci Formal

I think this is the point were Gen was talking about obfuscated C. The expression on Abby’s face says it all.
